TRY NOT TRYING

Stop trying. Just live your life. Love comes and goes like the wind, the sunshine, the rain, the snow. The right one is a figment of your imagination. Let it go. No one is right or not right, just either we fit well together or we don't. It's not magic or metaphysics but something much closer to just spending time with each other and enjoying the company we keep in close proximity. This, too, wanes like the moon. Happiness itself is ephemeral, simply a feeling we privilege because it makes us feel good but not because we learn anything from it like about a sense of balance. Not to burst your bubble but if you are beautiful, there are about four billion men who will bullshit you to make you believe that you are happy with them even if they aren't necessarily good for you. I just let things be. I don't try to make things work or try to find someone anymore. I used to do that but found it pointless. I hope you find the right person for you whether you try or just let things be as they are and the orbital gravity of two bodies eventually will meet.
